Recent, not old
You can see to the minute when the photo was taken. So you know what the person looks like today.
No stolen pictures
The photo is taken right in the app. Pictures from the internet can't be used.
No filters
When you check it, you see the original, exactly as it was taken. It can't be edited.
With a gesture
Ask for a photo with a particular gesture, like a thumbs-up. Then you know it was taken for you.
Your address stays private
The location is only shown to within about 10 kilometres, never your exact address.
Fair for both
Send a check code yourself too. Then you both know where you stand.
How to ask
Just write:
Hey, before we meet: could you take a recent photo with the free katitrust app and send me the check code? I’ll send you mine too, so we both know everything’s real.
