Ask for a recent photo of a room from the listing, holiday rentals included. Only someone who is really there can take it.
No copied photos
The photo is taken right in the app. Pictures from other people's listings can't be uploaded.
Does the location match?
You can see roughly where the photo was taken. Does it match the town in the listing?
Nothing touched up
When you check it, you see the original, exactly as it was taken. Nobody can make it look nicer afterwards.
For landlords too
Send people who are interested a check code yourself. Then they see right away that the flat really exists.
See it first, then pay
Never transfer a deposit for a flat you haven't viewed.
How to ask
Just write:
Hi, I’m interested in the flat. I always ask for a real, recent photo with online listings. Could you take one with the free katitrust app and send me the check code?
